Danielle Hawthorne
Professional Bio
Danielle Hawthorne is an executive coach, leadership consultant, facilitator, and speaker, and the Founder and CEO of Worthy of Dignity. She partners with accomplished women leaders navigating transition, misalignment, and reinvention, creating space for them to reconnect with themselves and determine what comes next without abandoning what they have built. She also works with organizations seeking to develop leaders who can hold responsibility for people and performance without losing sight of either.
Her work is grounded in the belief that dignity is inherent rather than earned through achievement, productivity, or position. Through Worthy of Dignity and The Practice of Remembering™, Danielle invites people to examine the expectations, roles, and stories that have shaped how they live and lead, reconnect with what they know to be true, and develop ways of moving forward that do not require them to abandon themselves.
Danielle brings more than 20 years of leadership and organizational experience. She currently serves as Director of Strategic Learning Initiatives at the Equity and Wellness Institute, where she leads complex, multi-stakeholder learning, facilitation, strategy, and community-engagement projects across public health, environmental justice, organizational change, and equity. Recognized as one of EqWI’s lead facilitators, she is known for her strategic insight, relational intelligence, sound judgment, and ability to guide consequential conversations with clarity and care.
Previously, Danielle served as Vice President of Programs at Code2040, where she led national programs, teams, and multi-million-dollar budgets. She participated in the 2026 Berkeley NOW Conference as a coach and co-facilitator, and her insights have been featured by Bloomberg and CBS News.
Danielle is an ICF Associate Certified Coach, an EVOK Certified Intentional Coach and Transformational Facilitator, and a Trustee of Pacific School of Religion.
